Sono rimasto davvero colpito da questa macchina espresso. È perfetta per chi, come me, sta imparando a preparare caffè di qualità a casa. La funzione Cold Brew è un tocco in più che non mi aspettavo e funziona benissimo.

Great to grow with, marks a great cup, a bit pricy

Overall: fantastic machine to grow with. From just starting out, wanting automatic features, to dialing in custom settings. It can do it all. If you don't want automatic features, you might not want to pay this. If you want flexibility of both, then it's perfect. Below are some commentary on various features Grinder. There's 15 settings, with sizeable steps between. Advantage here is at a setting of 13/15, it eas plenty coarse for my default pour over setting, giving me flexibility to grinder coarser if needed. On the other end, for most speciality coffee I was at a 6. Darker roasts at the 7. But the problem is because the steps are quite 'large'. I found dialing in a bit more tedious because 1 notch change on the grinder might be too much, or too little, and now you're forced to play with your dose size. Also, I find sometimes there's residual left and doesn't grind out everything I put in. Forces me to reset the grinder and run it again for a couple seconds to get everything out. Further, there is some bias towards the back of the machine, leading to mounding. Sometimes when pulling the portafilter out, grinds fall down to the drip tray. Speaking of dose, the "dosing dial". Completely useless in my opinion for above entry level use. They include excellent instructions on what different grind and dose ranges should be depending on roast. This is great for newbies I will admit. But you really should be weighing all your shots individually for maximum performance, so I ended up keeping this at max dose to ensure I get out exactly what I put in. But, if you're going to fill your hopper up with a whole bag, it is useful to dial in the amount, but honestly it's too vague to even be useful and you'd probably end how wasting more shots trying to dial in the dose. Tamping station. It's nice to have the integrated tamper, but similar to other comments, if you're becoming more invested in the process, it's not great.
